You have two options....
1. Simply place them in front of the stock valence and use black cable ties to fasten them to the stock valence. ( this is what mostly everyone that I know of has done)
2. Remove the bumper, *CAREFULLY* cut the stock valence with a hacksaw, use a dremmel to *CAREFULLY* sand the rough edges of the now-open space, paint the sanded edges w/ flat black paint and then clip the Stillen valence grilles with the supplied clips.
You choose....

I cut them out right on the car. I didn't remove the coupe bumper. Then used thier clamps to hold them in.
