CAI Question

I just installed my AEM Cold air and there's something thats bothering me a lot. When I look at the front of my car I can see the intake cone peeking out at me through the bottom grill. Should I be worried about water being sucked in since it's right there in front of the grill or an I just over paranoid about it?

Re: CAI Question

Yea if the cone is 'fully submersed' in water, you can kill the engine. A little rain wont hurt, but if you live in a flood-area, you need to get the AEM air-bypass valve. =)

Re: CAI Question

AEM makes bypass valves if you are worried about it, but like he said, unless you submerge the cone in water you should be OK.
