uhh if you didnt know, vortech and stillen are brand names. both akk08 and tim (ttrank) are talking about their superchargers...
you can buy them on g35parts.com
stillen supercharger is 3800 but i don't know what stage it is
vortech supercharger is 5800
also.... why post it in the canadian marketplace?
shouldn't you be posting in the tech area?

it will be hard to get 50hp out of bolt-ons - its possible, but expensive. if you just want 50hp, NOS is probably the most cost effective way to reach that goal. Read up in the nitrous forum over on my350z (don't post any questions until you've searched around) for info on basic setups. A lot of guys have pieced together reliable kits for under $1,000.
If you want to spend a little more, you can go with a supercharger like the guys above have mentioned. Used kits go from $2,500 - $3,500 depending on the add-ons, and you can get a new, full vortech kit from some of the vendors on here for around $4,500.

Also, you'll find in practice, that once you go the FI route, you'll spend at least twice the amount of the kit once you figure in install, tune, gauges, and other features.
Also, 50hp is not much. I don't think you'll really feel the difference. I had all the bolt-ons originally and other than "sounding" different, i don't think it really made much difference. If you want to actually "feel" the difference, you got to go boosted, or do something drastically different with the engine.

The air is typically compressed through the use of either a turbo charger (driven by exhaust) or supercharger (driven by engine directly via belt etc...)
A turbo or SC can be used as a daily driver.
Fuel economy generally goes down. Some people will say efficiency is increased through a SC, but this doesn't take into account the "fun factor" which basically means you boost a lot which means more fuel!
I get about 10-12 MPH city driving in my car which uses a Vortech SC. Highway is about the same as stock.

50 extra whp is a lot and almost anyone should feel a difference while driving.
Like many have said above, the most cost effective way of getting there and exceeding 50whp will be to buy a supercharger. On the VQ35 platform with simple bolt-on mods you won't get there, unless you start touching the engine internals.
