OBD-II Sensor Location

So I already did a quick search on G35 driver for this, but I couldn't find the answer.

I don't know where to plug in the OBD2 scanner to pull a code. This morning, I backed out of the driveway, and the check engine light went on, and the transmission wouldn't shift out of first. I did an ECU reset to see if that would help and everything works normally again. I have an OBD2 sensor, and I wanted to pull the code to see what happened.

It's a 2003 G35 Coupe Auto.

On 6mt, it says, "connect a suitable Scan Tool to the DLC, located under or on lower portion of instrument panel." Is the instrument panel referring to the dashboard? I checked under the steering wheel, but all I saw was the lever that allows me to move the steering wheel up and down. Could anyone give more detailed instructions or a picture of where to find it?

Thank you.

It's under the dash. Driver's side. Just left of the steering wheel.
