P2135 trouble code service engine soon

About a week ago my car would not accelerate and 3 lights (service engine soon, slip, and vdc) came on all at same time. I turned engine off then back on and the car has drove normally since but the service engine soon light was still on. After about 6 days since this occured, the service engine soon light disappeared on its own. I took my G to autozone and they read it as P2135 code which had to do with the throttle position sensor error. My G has about 58K and is an 05 coupe. Should I get this fixed at dealer or since light went away then is problem now fixed? Has anyone else had similar problem and how did you go about fixing it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

New throttle body will fix this problem.

clear the code. If it comes back then you need a new TB.

also a gas pedal switch (or what ever it's called) could also cause this code to show up.

How do you clear the code? will Clearing code fix the problem so I won't have to get new TB?

Also, is there a way to tell if its the gas pedal switch or the TB causing the code? Where is that gas pedal switch located? Thanks.

How would I tell if I need a rev-up or non-rev TB?

ok, so I havent changed the throttle body yet and my car recently stalled again this week. Would a good throttle body around 50K miles be ideal to buy to swap it out with mine now or should I just buy a brand new one? Just wanted to see if a good used one would work to save some money. Thanks for input...

I had the exact same symptoms and error code - mine was the electronic throttle control off of the accelerator - I believe it was part# 18002-am81d. I have heard more problems causing this code from the throttle body, but replacing this (by dealer) fixed mine. 2004 G35x - 11k miles.

Had the same problem and code.

Local dealer said $300 for reman....blah...
Auto Zone said $229 online (called the store and they said $350)
Parts Geek had it for $130 and I get $40 back when I return the core...so $90. cant beat that.
http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ttle_body.html

I was really debating on getting a Hitachi since its made by them for nissan. but went with the A1 Cardone

Question:
After the relearn, do I have to do something to remove the Service Engine Soon sign?
And do anyone have the relearn procedures listed here? thanks
