Made in china is the famous slogan here, hope it is worth for the money!
Since when Luk makes OEM parts in China. Otherhand i am not surprised, everubody is calculating expenses.
made in china... oh boy.... youll be lucky if the bolt holes even line up for the clutch... you probably need a made in china knockoff clutch to fit it.. haha

This LUK OEM flywheel, but made in China, I brought it from www.rockauto.com
If it is good for other G35, it is ok with me.

I am not very impressed with Jim Wolf flywheels.I hear lot of complains about JWT solid mass flywheels, I decided to go OEM and I have already EXEDY Stage 1 clutch kit, becausee I am not to interested to experience rattle and shuttering all the time. If somebody likes that, it is his problem.
The price was actually 487$, but it does not make difference. It is not the money but reliability that counts.JWT is not the only producer that can make flywheels!!!!!
If I would take solid mass flywheel, I would definately choose Exedy Lightweight flywheel
19.6lbs cause I have already Exedy clutch kit!

JWT flywheels are aluminum. Lightweight, but very vulnerable to warp. Get a steel single mass. Yes, they are lighter as in 18 lbs.

Every aftermarket flywheel will have chatter. The nismo has the least. In my opinion, the Exedy is the best one on the market. It's the ONLY true 1 piece design. The teeth are milled directly on the flywheel. No separate ring gear to fly apart. And it's steel so it's longevity isn't in question. The 2 negatives are the price($750+) and it may be louder than others since its a true single mass piece. If I ever upgrade mine, I'm getting the Exedy

To me it is difficult imagine how it is alike?
I had 98' Max with solid OEM flywheel and Stage 1 clutch, it had no rattle no chatter, very rapid, superb with G35 it is stage 1 like pain in ...?

Anyway my clutch exedy stage 1 and LUK OEM flywheel is repl. now and first impressions it does chatter at takeoff and reverse is nightmare, car shakes like 2 giants are shaking the whole car. When takeoff really rapidly it is almoust no chatter, i have droven now almoust 300 miles with new flywheel and wished to avoid the chatter(dream on) it still chatters, will it go better by time, who knows?

The OEM one you bought has a lot of chatter and shaking? Sounds like that Chinese was a bad choice. OEM should have minimal chatter and not vibrate in reverse. Or it was installed improperly. All aftermarket will sound like a cement mixer. It all depends on how much chatter you can tolerate when it comes to aftermarket ones. I can't promise the Exedy won't be loud
