Well as far as the 2003 model yes i did...

NHTSA Campaign Number: 05V555000

www.nhtsa.dot.gov
Manufacturer NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
Recall Date: NOV 28, 2005
Potential Number Of Units Affected: 192659
Description FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

Summary FUEL FILLER HOSE MAY CRACK FROM EXPOSURE TO OZONE. FUEL MAY LEAK FROM THE HOSE DURING REFUELING. OWNERS MAY BE WARNED OF THIS CONDITION BY ILLUMINATION OF THE ENGINE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AS A RESULT OF THE ONBOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM DETECTING A LEAK IN THE EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM.

Consequence FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL FILLER HOSE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 13, 2006. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261 OR INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6200.

and this as well...

HTSA Campaign Number: 02V245000

www.nhtsa.dot.gov
Manufacturer NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
Recall Date: 09/12/2002
Potential Number Of Units Affected: 18300
Description FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINEELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
Summary ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE FUEL HOSE CONNECTION FOR THE OUTLET OF THE FUEL PUMP WHICH IS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY ATTACHED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ASSEMBLED AND COULD COME LOOSE WHILE DRIVING OR WHEN STARTING THE ENGINE.

Consequence IF THE CONNECTION COMES LOOSE WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE WILL STOP RUNNING DUE TO LACK OF FUEL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. ALSO, IF THE CONNECTION COMES LOOSE WHILE DRIVING OR ATTEMPTING TO START OR RESTART THE ENGINE, SOME FUEL WILL DISCHARGE FROM THE FUEL PUMP. IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR IN THE PRESENCE OF AN EXTERNAL IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD RESULT.

Remedy DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, PROPERLY ATTACH THE FUEL HOSE TO THE FUEL PUMP. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN OCTOBER 7, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6

I've had my G35 coupe since 2004. Even till this day, I'm still very happy with my G and love just looking at it when parked or in windows as I'm driving. Its one of the nicest vehicles on the road being that mine is 6 years old already in my opinion. I've lived in Germany for 5 years and it still stands out amongst all the BMW's, Audis, Mercedes and other German cars. In Germany you see so many of those cars around. Everyone and their mom owns a BMW. Even the taxis and buses are Mercedes. I'm about to replace my first clutch and I have just over 120,000 miles. I've never had any problem besides having to replace the window motor for the passenger side. I'm sure that all the recalls from the past owner have been taken care of by this time. If not, then you probably won't have any problems anyway considering when these recalls were announced. There aren't any Infiniti dealerships in Europe or where I am currently (Turkey). So I wouldn't worry about it so much. If you always wanted one, I would get one. You'll always wonder "what if" if you don't. I payed just over $40k for mine and I don't regret it one bit. Hope this helps.

Other than your recalls, just make sure to check your oil levels consistently. If it comes with nav it will tell you if you need maintenance such as low fuel otherwise use the dipstick.

Yes i have researched like crazy... about the serious oil consumption .. the engine has ...i have always stayed on track with the maintanance on all my previous cars... i used to own strickly Supras and SC 300's but i always wanted a G35 coupe... the style.. and power both the 5AT and 6MT both have and the growl from the exhaust which always breaks my neck lol ... and if you keep it clean and stay on track with the paint job.. it really turns heads.. and gets alot of attention..
