Ignition Coil Oil Leak??!!

Ok so heres the deal, I'm sure everyone is familiar with the infamous ticking noise that has been talked about on here. Well I was changing my spark plugs to see if that could have been the problem and upon pulling the ignition coil off of one of the plugs, I seen it had oil down around the plug. Another thing I noticed was that the sleeve part of the coil spun freely unlike the other 5 which were stiff. Could it be that the ignition coil has gone bad/lost its seal or a bad seal on the valve?

if you have oil in your spark plug cylinder then your valve covers are leaking.

covered under powertrain warranty 6yr 70K miles. If you are covered call the dealer, if not, you should consider replacing the leaking valve cover(s).

ignition coils that are sitting in oil will have the rubber swell and it will ruin the coil.
