gas smell under the hood

im kindda new here so anyone can help me out? any idea is appreciated, i have a 05 g35 when i start the engine it the gas smell come out. like when i open the hood i can tell it really strong..i checked but didnt see any leak or anyhting so?

are you positive there is no fuel leak?... I'm sure you've already checked the fuel hoses...

check the fuel rail - particularly behind the plenum where the fuel damper connects to fuel rail (there is an O ring that could be bad)... also check the injectors (O rings)

Its doubtful that there is a problem in this area unless service (or modifications) have been done recently - but it doesn't hurt to check...


If you smell fuel there's a chance of a leak somewhere...

thanks for ur help i think i gonna take it to the shop and let them check it out
