I recently bought a 2007 coupe 6mt with 18,000 miles on it. I have put 1,000 miles on it and have been checking the oil (my vin falls withing the vin numbers for the TSB). I think that I have maybe used up 1/16" on the dipstick...maybe 1/8 quart??.....my question is: does the oil consumption start out very gradual and worsen with more mileage on the engine? or is it there from the beginning?...trying to figure out if I should be worried?....the warranty for the drivetrain is 70K right but for how many years?
