chugging/glugging sound from the engine when slowing down to a stop??

chugging/glugging sound from the engine when slowing down to a stop??
ok guys. this has been bugging my gf (whom drives the car a lot more than me) for awhile. now i'm a bit curious what the issue is too.
we have an 04 6mt g35 coupe 41k with no mods except probably an aftermarket clutch (pedal is very stiff and came with the car when we got it 7k miles ago). WHEN driving and coming to a stop, there is this chugging or liquid-like sound coming from the front of the car. the same sound as if you were dumping oil straight out of the carton into your motor or dumping milk straight out of the gallon. we do not have an oil leak or anything. the sound is most apparent when i drive over the curb into our driveway, and then you can really hear it. it's almost clunkish/chugging sounding. WHAT IS IT?? anyone else experiencing this weird sound?
