Quick Question

Hi just had a quick question. I already have the stillen intake for 05 coupe and want to get the ztube. The question is: Are there differences in the fitment of the OEM ztube and the stillen ztube with the air box? Pros/Cons. Think I want OEM b/c its one piece but want to make sure it fits great.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Stillen does a lot of R&D into their products, its just expensive for what you get usually. I dont think fitment is an issue.

If I remember, the Stillen tube is metal, the OEM Z tube is plastic. Think "heat soak". The OEM is much cheaper too. Unless you are going for looks.

The stillen Z-tube is plastic but you will have to reuse the G's coupler. The stillen one fits perfectly fine. The OEM z-tube has the coupler and pipe all in one.

No worries, the OE z-tube and Stillens replacement are an exact fit. I'm surprised you didn't go with their z-tube when you purchased the intake. It allows the air to enter the plenum almost unrestricted and the sound is like music above 2500 RPM.... Just do it!

Thanks everyone for your responses. Yeah I probably should have purchased the stillen when I bought the intake. Oh well, I'll get it done now. Prob going OE though since I'm a little late on the pick up.

Thanks again
