Hey guys...I've been posting questions quite a bit the past few days and appreciate everyone's help. I had one more (hopefully the last in a while):

I filled up today at the point where my dash displayed "---" for distance left that I can travel with the amount of fuel I have left in the tank (it switched to this after it hit 11 miles left or so).

Anyway, so when I filled up, I only was able to pump in 17.2 gallons. This is a bit suprising since I have a 20 gallon tank. Is it normal that it shows "---" when in reality I have almost 3 gallons left...which means at a very minimum of 30 miles left that I can go?

 

reality is that you have 2-3 gallons left when you see **** on the nav. where was the needle at?

 

yes, perfectly normal. Mine said I had "8 miles til empty" last night and I put in 17 or so.
