Mine didn't leak at all at 100k miles. I got some newer ones on there now with 20k miles supposedly.

I had 120K on mine when I changed them...#5 and #6 were both oiled nicely :S No problems since.

Gonna change my plugs again here in the next 5K miles, so I'll check soon enough.

100-120k miles is plenty of service life. At least the plastic ones are a lot lighter than the aluminum ones I tried.

where did you guys get the plug tube seals. I have been trying to ask for it but they only sell me the valve cover gaskets and the valve covers. The valve covers are really expensive and i don't think i need them since they are not crack nor anything like that.

They actually dont make seals for these valve covers that are seperate. They were trying to fit other valve covers to the vq engine in order to get replacable gaskets. It didnt work though. The valve covers and gaskets come in a one piece format so the only way is to replace the whole cover. It sucks trust me luckily if you are still under warranty infiniti will cover all expenses. You may even be able to try and get the dealer to cover charges since this is a known issue with the engine.
