AWD grounding wires

So I was doing some maintenance on the car and I thought it would be a good time to get the transmission grounding wire on. I have one from Sean (SxExCx) on here and located the suggested grounding point. The only problem is, there is the front driveshaft right there. There is literally about a 3/4" space between the transmission case and the driveshaft and the bolt is about 3 inches up.

For those that have installed this, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

i put mine here, but i don't think its grounding anything there as there was no difference in the shifting on the A/T at all. davidxu, did you notice a difference when you put the wire there?

thanks

a slight bit. Not day and night difference though..

Just mount it anywhere on the tranny housing but away from heat components or moving parts.

do an ecu reset after.

if i shift while WOT and i shift at 6500rpm, it used to shift at 7000RPM or over. Now it shifts at around 6800RPM
