Updated pics of my headlights
I decided to give them a slightly different look. The amber turn signal, which I had as black previously, I now spray painted with "chrome" paint. The shield around the projector I wrapped with chrome cover.

You can see my old Legend in the background. Still running well even after 13 years.
Everything was resealed with OEM Nissan sealant. This is always such a pain in the butt ordeal (taking the headlights apart, etc).

Re: Updated pics of my headlights
The projectors are BMW X5 projectors.
The original project took me about 20 hours last year, my thread on that is somewhere in the Coupe forum. This "revision," adding the chrome trim, etc, took about 12 hours total.
You may notice that I painted part of the headlight bezel. It's because some of the beam hits the bezel, and was causing glare, so I painted it flat black to reduce that.
The beam pattern is about the same strength as OEM in the foreground, but it's much wider, and the cutoff is sharp. I have pics of the beam pattern buried somewhere in this forum.

Re: Updated pics of my headlights
The up/down is adjusted with the stock assembly. Unfortunately, the X5 projector touches the dust cap, so I don't have as much lattitude as I would like to adjust. So the beam is a bit higher than I would like, but I'll solve this one day when the car gets lowered.
As for the Brembos, I bought those off ebay, they came red.

I am not good at taking night pics. If I use night mode, it's blurry unless I hold really steady, but in auto mode it doesn't represent the lights well.

That really looks great. I still don't understand why Infiniti didn't give us projectors to begin with.

Re: Updated pics of my headlights
I have offered a price in one of my previous posts, but this is not an easy job.
The projector retrofit was pretty easy on my Acura Legend. But with the G35 coupe headlights, there are a lot more space constraints/considerations.
If the projector is too far forward, you'll hit the clear outer plastic. Too low and your beam patter gets messed up by the bezel. Too high or too far back, and your HID bulb base starts hitting the dust cap. If you try and modify the dust cap by moving it, you might run into clearance problems with the fender liner.
On top of that, the bezel is very delicate. I had the passenger side develop one crack on me the first time I took it apart.
If I did another set, I would need a week with the headlights to do what I consider a good job (alignment, clearance, a good seal).
If you can do it yourself, the total cost for the job is less than $200.
