FFor starters let me apologize if this is in wrong thread I'm doing this from my phone at work and couldn't see the whole page. But anyways, I'm planning g an experiment on my 07 g35. I know its y been done before but I don't know any of the details about it. My plan was to drop a v8 into it. However I don't know what will fit without having too much work done just to fit it. I have seen a G with a 5.4 Nissan Titan engine but I'm no looking to go that big. I know a Guy who is amazing when it comes to anything that's American muscle, my buddy had an engine built from him in 04 for his cobra and its still running perfect. I was thinking about getting a built 4.6 put in. Its going to be a lot of work swapping literally y everything from the engine, to the electronics but it could be done. Anyways any info is useful, mainly the part about the engine fitting :-) thx again

 

Guys have done VK56s and chev LX engines. Never heard of a cobra engine though.

 

There's a thread about an LS3 going into a Coupe. To say it's a major project would be an understatement. It may not be relevant if you have a Sedan since they changed the body in 2007, but that's the best place to look for information. And you're right, anything can be done, for a price. You'll have to decide if it's worth it.
