mrev2, or plenum spacer to go with my current setup?

I have an 04 5AT coupe, with HKS true dual catback exhaust. I plan on getting the FI 300 cel HFC and ztube/pop charger combo later. But for now I would like to do some research on getting either an mrev2 or the md 5/16 plenum spacer.

I heard that mrev2 would be more beneficial for my setup than the spacer. What do you guys suggest. Would love to hear your opinions.

it doesn't say anywhere specifically on motordyne's website that the MREV2 is solely for a 6mt. Where are you getting this info from? It says its for use on any VQ35DE. I have the same vehicle as the OP and if there really is a reason not to use the MREV2 on our cars, I wanna know why.
