I don't expect it or want it to sound like a V8, I just want to hear how it sounds. If I want to hear a V8, I'll just drive my Garage queen '02 camaro SS. But I do have the stock exhaust for the SS laying around

yep... that is why all the 4 cylinders sound like fart cans regardless of what kind of aftermarket exhaust you get... because is a 4 cylinder.

I second that! Also Subaru EJ20/25 sounds very nice when coupled with a good exhaust. Oh the sweet rumble of boxer engines.

Thats because turbos really quiet down any engine, so the srt4 just sounds like a civic with deep exhaust and without the rasp.

Whoever said that this is a stupid idea but its not. If you look at it, you can get a flowmaster camaro or firebird muffler cause the inlets adn outlets are almost the same, if not the same. I used to have a camaro and when i saw the g's exhaust thats the first thing that came to mind was, hmm. i think i can use a camaro exhaust.

Yeah thats because ITS 1000 HP!!! A normal twin turbo system adding 100-150hp quiets down an engine. A huge t88 single turbo adding 500+ hp sounds like a goddamn jet. Thanks for stating the obvious exception to the rule.

The reason american V8s sound the way they do is because of the engine's firing order. The firing order is way weird. Samething with the Harley V-twin motors the firing order is all messed up. Alot of the way an engine sounds is because of the firing order or the nature of the motor. Now exhaust tuning can change the pitch and volume.
