INSTALLING GAUGES

Has anyone here installed gauges in their G35? If so can you help me out with a link or something to help me with the wiring and install of my gauges? I have an air/fuel, voltmeter, and oil pressure. Thanks.

Re: INSTALLING GAUGES

I installed A/F and boost guages. The A/F was pretty easy - I ran the sensor wires out of the passengers side firewall in to the battery compartment (I drilled a 1 1/8" hole and used a grommet to seal it back up). I then drilled another hole in the side of the battery compartment to route the sensor to the header. I grabbed power from under the steering column - there is a wire that is hot with the ignition is on going to the key switch. You can use this for your voltmeter also. If you have any lights in the guage you can use the parking light wire in the drivers kick, the wire changes color by year and car. As far as mounting them, I mounted mine in the center console. Kind of hard to see while driving, but you can see them to tune the car and make sure everything is normal. On my install I mounted a magnetic switch underneath the center console so that when it is closed and magnetically latched it shuts off the lights to the guages!
