There's also a way to reset it using the gas pedal. Do a search for resetting the ECU and you'll find it.

BCM = brake control module?

ECM - electronic control module(computer brain)

What is wrong with your BCM?

Ah, body control module...i am unfamiliar with it

I've never heard of anybody needing to swap it out.
