coolant mixing with tranmission fluid

can someone tell me if my radiator needs to get replaced and if it not the problem then what ?

how do u know the two fluids are mixing? if your coolant is contaminated, are you sure it isn't from the combustion chamber (headgasket issue)? if it is indeed coolant & tranny fluid, it sounds like there is a hole at the bottom of your radiator and it will need to be replaced.

If they are mixing you need a new rad as it would seem the internal trans cooler is leaking.

if you are getting coolant in your trans fluid not only do you need to get a new radiator to fix your problem, but you will need to do a full fluid exchange in the trans as well as the engine cooling system.

Coolant will wear out your tranny real quick. Do not wait to get this one fixed!!

Check trans fluid for glycol. If glycol is present, The radiator needs to be replaced, cooling system flushed and the transmission flushed, including the torque converter. When the radiator is being replaced, get one w/o a cooler and just get an external w/ fan.

thanks everybody changed the radiator gave everything a flush and runs alot better
