Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

I just modified a 350Z carbon fiber engine cover to fit my G35. I thought I would share the results with you. Thoughts

Cool, what did you have to modify?

Re: Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

sweet dude, you just spent alot of money on something that can potentially keep your engine warmer than it needs to be, when you could just have left the engine....gasp...bare. Faster=better for future reference.

Re: Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

I had to trim the front to clear the intake snorkel the back portion so it would wrap around the Kinetix intake plenum. Then I added the NISMO raised decal.

Re: Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

I thought about leaving the engine bare but I did not like the look. As for the money thing, $85.00 on ebay.

Re: Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

I got the wires off of ebay from a guy named Warren who makes the kit. If you are interested his web address is www.maxground.com. The kits are very reasonable, I believe the six wire kit was less than $60

Re: Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Thanks for the info, azcougarman. I like the color you have. I have been considering a set from Grounding Gear but I don’t think they offer that color.
