DIY Battery change

I paid $97 for this battery including core charge of $9. Car cranks and starts a lot faster. OEM battery lasted 6 years since the manufacture date. Was still working and could still start the car sitting over night.

When I changed the battery I also cleaned up the compartment for the fresh air intake for the AC.

Did you have any idle problems after install?

Mine also cranks better with the new battery on cold starts. However, on hot starts it stalls out. I am taking it to my mechanic today--he thinks it needs an idle re-learn.

Hope you have better luck than me. Never had an issue changing a battery before.

Mine is fine. Never stalled on me since I got the car for any reason.

Yeah, turns out I needed an idle air volume correction. Fine now.

My dealer swapped mine in 2006, and just retested it they claim it is fine but, it starts like crap after a few days, so I left my battery tender on it and it starts great now lol

So I gotta buy a 24 type battery somewhere else
