is it possible or am i setting the bar too high? would prob do all internals so i could rev to 8000, cams, and maybe a stroker kit if sleeves arent required. thoughts?
its on a DEvq, and when i say stock exhaust, i meant to say stock exhaust with hfc

which dyno do you plan on using?

The dyno at Element Racing up in Ogden I dyno'd 222 rwhp before several mods. Thats the dyno Josh hit 207 stock. That dyno (dynomite??) seems to be more accurate with numbers for the elevation than the other one(dynojet).

id prob go to the other one in ogden, the one we had the dyno day at. cant remember the name of it
i also figured 275 to the wheels with stock exhaust was going to be impossible so i lowered my target, but i may need to lower it more. i dont want to spend 10k

Yeah, don't spend 10K.

Get a quality Y pipe & MP and then run electric cutout down the MP when you want to run power. That way you'll still keep the stock note of the muffler but be able to take advantage of power.

what about keeping stock Ypipe and stock mid pipe and just putting a cutout in the mid?

You won't get the flow out of the stock Y-pipe that you will from other options. You can pick up some aftermarket ones pretty cheap.

Keep in mind that you want velocity for scavenging but you want volume for maximum displacement. They work in tandem.
