To TS ESU or NOT????

I was wondering if it would be worth it to flash my ECU with only the following Mods? Keeping in mind that I do not plan to do anymore Mods. Also any idea of the difference in HP from my current set-up to one with an updgraded ECU? Again just wondering if an additional $495 for an ECU upgrade would be worth it especially since I don't plan to do anything else.

Kinetix Y-pipe
Kinetix Plenum
Z-tube
K&N fliter

I have similar mods to yours and I got the TS Flash. Car drives much better. Car drives smoother. Torque feels better down low and up top it pulls harder. This is all butt dyno though. I'd only get it if you're done modding though.

From a reliability stand point of view, It would have been worth it just to straighten out the lean condition you have likely inhereted from the plenum. Any power gain as the result will simply be icing on the cake.

This is a little off subject, but last time I checked (today) Kinetix did not offer a Y-Pipe for the G35. Are you sure you aren't referring to their hi-flow cats?

Re: To TS ESU or NOT????

This should be the LAST MOD you do. That means anything you replace, do it first. I got my ECU ahead of my headers and ran almsot a full point rich because of it for 2 weeks. Search my posts you can see the writeups on it, however, if you are going to get headers/catback/y-pipe (or in my case lack there of) DO THOSE FIRST, worry about the ECU later.

PS.... My ecu was tuned for having the headers there already (I used the a:f curves Doug at Crawford developed for his personal Z, and IMO would be the best choice, if you had gone the crawford route)
