the 2jz will run hard and be an easy swap...IMO i would go RB26 and stay true to nissan

RB26?? No sir, $7-10K for like 30HP more?? Not worth it at all bcuz u wld have to TT it anyway. With the LS swap your at like 420HP/TQ already. 2JZ for me tho, easy to mod, reliable power and its efficient, still gas friendly and its quiet. V8's are loud and will overpower your exhaust all day... but some ppl like that. To each his own.
