Is anyone else having problems with the igniter coils failing?

Let me try to sum up my story as briefly as possible. My car has about 85k on it, and a few months ago one of my igniter coils went out, no big deal. I just replaced it. About a month later, another one. Then another one.... so I figured ok, maybe these things only last 80-90k. Just as I thought they would, they were beginning to fail, one by one.

However, last month I replaced igniter coils on cyl #2 and #6. About a week later, I lost #2 again, then a the next day, I lost #6 again.

I'm stumped as to what is causing the igniter coils to fail... is something else in my engine causing them to fail? Did I just run into bad luck and maybe got a bad batch that Nissan produced?

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
