Thanks for this. I'll have my grounding kit and 5/16ths plenum arriving next week and can knock all this out at once.

Appreciate the time you took.

i just did the passenger side harness and alternator wire tuck today.
the 2 pieces of fender liner that have to come off to do this.

got the harness all disconnected and ready to be tucked in.

i dont see how you guys were able to connect everything without extending wires. i had the loom stripped all the way back to the split at the bulk harness under the battery and the headlight plug was still atleast 5" from the connector. i used 18ga wire since thats the smallest size pepboys had AND i soldered all the extensions! i extended the headlight wires and the hood switch wires, the others worked ok. the washer pump wires were a lil snug but still fit fine even after the fender liner was put back on.

oh yeah, and i hooked the harness on the first couple clips that hold the washer hose up.

i drilled the hole and used a unibit to enlarge it for the alternator wire to go through and pulled it out the big square hole on the opposite end.

the big ground i hooked back up in the battery compartment along with the one seperate ground wire that i stripped back so it was plenty long.
had to trim the plastic piece for the e-fan plugs since i couldnt snap it back in its original spot and keep this in oem fashion lol.

there were 2 small ground wires from the big ground connection that kept it from being pulled back inside so i cut those and crimped an eyelet and used a nut to secure them on the back of one of the bolts for the hood switch bracket. you can see a couple of the wires and the 2 small grounds if you look down behind the headlight but no biggy to me. just glad its done lol.

the only thing i gotta do now is relocated/mod the bracket for the fuse panel as i pulled the bulk harness as close to the hole as i could so it moved it over about 3-4".

all finished up. time to fill the holes with some plugs and something for the rubber thingys.

and yes, i used some vacuum hose that i slit up to make the grommets for the 2 holes. hope i could have been of some more help to those who will be doing this.

^The way I did mine without having to extend any of the normal wires, was by taking lose those ground wires and making an extension for them.

Also, I split the harness inside the battery area where it forks, and removed all the zip-tie things that hold it in place in there.

Another trick on the headlight, is to take the plug loose where it's no longer attached to the back of the headlight, that gives you a few more inches there.

true. well i didnt move the plug lol. where the bulk harness split.....that part is pulled all the way towards the hole and i took the first couple clips off that were under the battery, left the other 2 alone so it didnt move any from that. but i had the harness all seperated all the way up to that split.
