Re: Official "I want an aftermarket radiator" thread

Why am i doing a custom G35 radiator?

How much does it cost for a 350z aftermarket and then an aftermarket tranny cooler?

How much will it cost to have that 350z customized to fit? How much personal time will you need to invest finding/explaining and getting someone to do that for you?

Also, on the 3 row, there would not be enough air flow getting through the radiator.

Expect to see a prototype 5AT in 3 weeks, Stay tuned.

Why a 2 row? I would just design it to be a 3 row and Im sure the stock radiator is at least a 2 row but probably weighs a ton and is not aluminum.
I would say it would fit...I dunno how it is on the G but most cars have to get rid of the Bumper Support or trim it a lot to make intercoolers fit or the intercooler would be hitting the AC Condensor.

Re: Official "I want an aftermarket radiator" thread

they can make any radiator for any application. Since all aftercoolers are different, I'm taking baby steps with them. I am trying to get an aftermarket radiator that will fit our stock mounts and give us a more capacity, in aluminum.

Once they have that protoyped, then folks will be able to send them their requirements to fit around their special needs.

From discussions I have had with DaveO, it looks like the only difference between the 03/04 5AT and the 6MT is the fact that the 5AT has an integrated tranny cooler in its bottom.

So, it looks like if I get them to build the 5AT, they need only delete the tranny cooler for the 6MT!

Cheers, Ted
