Early ECU tuning

Since there is no real dedicated thread for this and after countless searches I didnt find the information I was looking for I needed to make this thread.

I have a very old G35 with the old ECU and was wondering what my options are for tuning software/hardware, I have recently went FI and do not drive my car til I get a proper ECU tune for it.

I Know about Technosquare but they never return my emails are their any other options?

So you bolted on an FI kit before figuring out how you could tune it.

UTEC will work but you will either have to splice the wiring or buy the wiring harness from the Maxima guys

So You assumed I bought an FI kit without getting an EMS for it? I previously bought the UTEC for it but didnt know I had a different ECu then the rest of the G35's.

Also Willey, Im having a hard time finding the PnP harness the maxima guys used or I would have bought it a lonnng time ago haha.

apparently he's still trying to produce them and never got off the ground for other people yet..

You know that you can just hardwire that UTEC into your ECU right? If it were me, I would do that.

Im looking into doing that now. A member on Maxima forums has a pin readout I believe.

Time to bring out the soldiering iron!

i have a pin readout i used to wire up my eManage. Let me know if you need/have any questions. It is also located in the FSM. I double checked to make sure everything matched up accordingly.

I didn't assume anything i read your thread and figured out you didn't do enough research to find out your car is different than most G35s. So now you have a FI kit bolted on but you don't have a way to tune it.
