Today i was at a friend of mines house, i am buying his wheels of off him and of coarse it did not go smooth becuase his wheel lock key was a bit rounded and it will not fit into the nut. I bought the craftsman lug remover that you hammer on and we still could not get it off. A friend of mine who was there works in a shop and he said he could most likely get it off with that same tool and a impact wrench. All the other lug nuts on the wheel were extremely tight so im assuming this one is the same way. We have 3 wheels left and we only tried on this one. By the way my 18 inch wheel is on his left rear of his 350, and theres one kruez 10 3 piece of his on my left rear. Teasing the hell out of me, its a deal and a half so i dont want to miss the opurtunity. Any of you have any tips on how to remove these things without the key??

by the way his buddy tried showin my friend who said "this will not work right now" decided to go ahead and slam away on the lug remover with the mallet and slammed the wheel and chipped the powdrcoating. TIGHT!!!!!! but he took 100 off, wheels of america by my house re does the wheels for 109 bucks, one of them is curbed anyway so it will be going along with that one, but that just added to the fun....

infiniti has a master wheel lock key that will fit in all of the wheel locks... go there...

DED, the criminals already know the answer... Just drill out the center of the wheel lock with a cordless drill. You'll need a strong drill bit, but it will work.

What? You think that John Kerry is not consistent?

 

If you don't want to drill, then get a socket that you don't want anymore, weld it onto the wheel lock. Then take an impact wrench and take the whole thing off.

You can always get a new socket, and you can always get a new wheel locks.

I know of a few neighborhoods in DC that will remove your wheel locks for free, all you have to do is leave your car there overnight and in the morning you won't have anymore wheel lock problems

All wheel lock sets come with a form to order another key....but I bet your friend doesn't have that form anymore, does he...

I remove mine using a "12 point" socket and a $39 12V impact wrench, took me less than 10 min to remove all four..Those wheel locks are useless..
