Wideband owners: please read

My G was getting a little warm the other day sitting in 90degree traffic. My wideband was indicating 16:1+ at idle. Do any of you guys know if the ECU has a high heat mode. I would think using more fuel would be the apropriate choice to keep the engine cooler. If I slightly brought the rpms up it would return to 14.7-15.1 normal af.

How's the A/F at idle in 60 or 70 degree weather? I'd guess that you'll have a high A/F on a fully warmed up car at low RPMs with no load on the engine. Does not seem out of whack to me.
