Turbonetics kit + oil pan spacer
Man... Ive searched and searched.. I cannot find my answer so i had to start a thread. I bought a turbonetics kit and dont want to tap the block so opted for a oil pan spacer. the JWT doesnt have holes predrilled so the only thing that is good for it more oil. The OBX oil spacer has holes for the oil drain line but there is no fitting to put the drain hose on it. So what do i need and where do i get it. do I buy the a spacer and have to drill a hole? Do i have to buy a special fitting for the oil drain line to go on it? I just dont get it.. I want to know exactally what i need to tap my oil pan because something tells me its not just the oil pan i need. and where to get it as well.... Thanks a lot.

Tap the block bro. The oil pan spacer will clog the oil return lines for the turbo because it pools in the pan. I was scetchy about having a whole drilled in my block but after a few of my friends installed there kits with the spacer option they quickly drilled the hole and just used the pan for more oil holding capacity.
Greddy makes a pan spacer with taps built in. My buddy did a twin turbo set up and I thought it was an awesome and almost oem looking. He is putting down 500whp daily and 750whp on race gas...and he has no issues with clogging.
Mine is tapped though.
