You can run staggered as long you buy the right tire sizes. Im running staggered on my X.

To OP, spacer, test pipes, exhaust and tune is all you can do really for simple bolt-ons..probably get like 30-40 hp at the wheels. If you want real power you need to shell out big bucks.

yes, but when i bought the car, i had a personal goal in mind for the 1/4 and that was to cut a 14.5, i started off bone stock with a 14.83@96 and i figured with my ricer math 9whp from the spacer should shave off .1, better practice would shave off another .1 and finally test pipes which are supposedly another 10whp item should finishing my icing on the cake. All together thats only about $500 worth of mods. But really its not worth it to me after about 1.5 years of ownership.

Given that i'll probably still do it when i find someone selling it for cheap here. But the best i can ever imagine a G35x doing in the 1/4 is about 14.1, spending a lot of money you will make a 13.1 but risk blowing up something in the AWD part. You can beef up the trans but not the AWD drivetrain.

oh another reason why i gave up... is because the 07-08 g35x can do 13's w/ no trouble LOL...

I actually ran a 14.7@93 mph with my x. That was bone stock, with 3/4 tank of gas, the full size spare and a tool box in the trunk. My g has nav too for a little extra weight. I thought that was plenty good enough for me. One day I'll see if I remove the weight and run barely any gas if i can hit a 14.6 or 14.5.

I wanted to do mods....spacer, intake, exhaust, etc..but at the end of the day I would spend $1000 or more to run low 14s, and like you said..an 07+ g37x would beat that stock. I had several as loaners and they moved. So in an year or so, I'll upgrade.

Plus it's very easy to say I'll leave my car stock when i already have a 13 second car in the garage.

I think that's true, I don't think my bolt-ons have done much for the car, but I still like having them, LOL!
