Rear Camber correction rod install tips?
Rear Camber correction rod install tips?
Anyone do the rear Kintex or Stillin camber correction rod for the G35/350Z's in the past? Do I need to watch out for anything when I do the swap?
Also, I want to play around with different camber settings
before I take it into the alignment shop for its final alignment.
How is toe affected by changing the rear camber? Say my car is at -3 camber and toe-in .15 each side. If I changed
to -1 camber, would it toe-in or toe-out?

I'm getting an alignment done at 2pm today. I'll ask (if I can remember) while I'm there.
John Kerry promises a $1000 middle class tax cut AFTER the Bush tax cut expires.
The Bush tax cut is ~$3500 per middle class family.
JOHN KERRY = MIDDLE CLASS TAX INCREASE!

Re: Rear Camber correction rod install tips?
I stopped my UlimateZ moments ago to pickup the Stillen
camber correction rods. The guy there told me that
more camber = more toe out.
So for example if I currently have -3 camber on the rear
and played with it so it will be -1.5, then I will result with
more toe-in.
The stillin rods come with instructions on how to install,
so will give it a shot tonight.

Re: Rear Camber correction rod install tips?
Install went pretty smooth. Nothing really hard. It was
easier to access the locknuts on the hub carrier side
taking the wheels off. That's about the only difference I did
vs the Stillen instructions.
Got the car aligned, dialed in at -1.4neg camber with
.15 /.14 toe L / R. Car runs and looks great.
no need for the toe alignment rod for the Eibach lowering
springs.
