Do a little research on this Forum, but many will say 1. Z tube (air intake tube from a Nissan 350Z) -- $75 and/or a CAI -- about $130+. 2. K&N Filter -- $30 3. Exhaust System ranging from just a Coupe midpipe (like I have), Y-pipe or a new performance muffler to high-flow cats, test pipes and a full cat-back system -- prices from about $200+ 4. Suspension upgrades like sway bars, performance/lowering springs, etc. -- again, prices from about $200+ 5. Gordgee's Groundng Gear System -- PM Gordgee for prices (depending on 5-wire, 7-wire, 10-wire system) 6. Aesthetic mods like new wheels/tires, aluminum pedals -- about $65 and clear side markers -- about $30 7. Performance Plenum -- about $500 7. Turbo, Supercharger, and NO kits -- a lot of $$ ;-)

Check out www.EverythingG35.com and www.PerformanceNissanParts.com. I suppose you could go crazy and do as many mods as you want, but the fact is b/c the G35 (and the VQ engine) is so good as is, there's only a handful of worthwhile mods that can be done to this car...Enjoy!!! ;-)

Your car is asking for a lowering kit first.

Re: Most performance for the $$

Mods you can feel:

GroundingGear (Not sure if there are any hp gains or if it will affect your track times, but you'll definitely feel it!)Impressions

Better tires!

Sway bars.

NItrous, or FI (Cost $$$$)

Mods you can hear, but may or may not feel:

CAI (I experienced a loss of low-end power and throttle response)

Z-tube (Popular and cheap)

Y-Pipe (I'm not sure I like the sound.) Review

Exhaust

Plenum (Many feel, especially at the top end)

"Bling Factor":

Clear Corners

Aluminum Pedals

Wheels

Bulb changes

Lowering (May help with handling)

General Worthwhiles:

Tint

Clear bra

Side Marker mod

Technosquare ECU re-flash (Best done after all mods)
