I just installed Megan testpipes and... CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!! HELP
ok, i just installed megan testpipes and megan ypipe. when i installed it yesterday and took a test drive, the check engine light did not come on.
Today, i turned my car on to warm it up for about 10min the check engine light came on. My state inspection expires this month and i need to get inspected.
I saw some of the videos that would fix the check engine sign due to installing testpipes and they would use non-foulers? and drill them to connect on the o2sensor which makes the ecu to read it as a oem cat or something..
you know g35 coupe has 2 o2 sensors on the oem cat converter and another 2 on the headers.. am i supposed to use 1 non-fouler on 1 o2sensor? or am i supposed to use all 4 non-fouler on all 4 o2sensors that are on my testpipes and headers? i'm not rich enough to drop my car to the shop to fix them. most of basic stuff i can do it myself in my garage.
please give me some advice what i could do to fix the check engine light before i get my car inspected without FAILING

use 1 or 2 on EACH side - only on the CAT CONVERTERS. Do NOT space the O2 sensors on the headers.
1 non-fouler may not space it enough to eliminate the CEL so some people use 2 on each side.

lol...i can't live and drive around without inspection stickers haha. i just got the non-foulers and installed them on my o2 sensor. am i supposed to take out the negative battery before installing? so it resets and reads this testpipes as a oem cat? o.O
just do the gas pedal reset..search it ull find it..it doesnt read it as an oem cat ..the o2 just doesnt get all the gasses cuz its spaced out..most likely it wont work..u need the 90 degree ones..i got the megan v2 test pipes with built it non foulers and i still through a CEL

i thought of getting inspection before doing the testpipes. when i was installing ypipe first someone told me to take out the negative cable when working on the cat converter so that o2 sensor gets reset. i just did the non fouler on my o2 sensor and when i turned ignition it still threw CEL. i don't think this is going to disappear if i drive about 50-100miles.. sucks thing is i already sold my stock cat converter so i can't even put them back on for testpipes.. do you guys think the reseting ECU will help getting through the state inspection?

Yeah I'm not quite sure why you didn't just wait until you did the inspection and then installed the test pipes.

the link i sent u is the same as those above..they should work..and no the CEL wont turn off..u gotta do a reset and hopefully it wont go back on....do the pedal reset..search it..i think its the best way to really no u reset ur ecu..
As far as I know if you reset your ECU you will still fail. For emissions here if the ECU was reset, it'd cause a "readiness" failure regardless if there's a check engine light or not.
the non foulers above should work do to the 90 degree angle...if not then ur screwed..lol better get all ur bolt ons soon then do an uprev tune then ull pass..not to be a d**k but this is kinda comical

I'm gonna have to agree with mkvl. I think here are your options
1. Take the time to buy the 90* angle non fouler or to do the DIY in the link I posted. Slim chance the light will be there but if it still doesn't work that's that.
2. Spend several hundred dollars on an uprev tune.
3. (What I would personally do) Try to find some OEM cats and throw them back on there and KEEP them so that you can pass inspection every year.
4. Pay someone off to pass you.
