Can oil catch can hose length cause issues?

I have a Mishimoto Oil Catch i found a perfect spot to install it on the driver side. my question is would the extra hose length required to run the catch can from the driver side cause a decrease in vacuum pressure? i was thinking of it like having a very long garden hose and distance the water has to travel causes it looses pressure and just pore out instead of spraying. Is there anyone running a catch can from the driver side?

it shouldnt make a difference just as long as the hose isnt in such a angle where the oil cant make it to the can.
