Went to Englishtown this weekend for a big bracket race. The place was packed a usual and we were only given one time shot. I decided to try to launch with the traction control on but it killed the performance: 15.1 @ 92mph. I dial in a 15.0 and plan to lift at the end if the car felt faster. I'm way ahead by the end so I slow down through the traps but still loose. The car was on a killer run because I ran 14.70 @ 82 mph on the brakes! My best before was a 14.59 @ 97 so I wish I had kept I had kept on the power. I would expect it to have been a 14.3-14.4 at around 98mph.

Awesome run, I am thinking with a little practice, the auto G35 sedan is capable of a low 14 sec run bone stock. Some of the auto maxima guys are getting mid 14s as well. I am hoping for a bone stock high (prolly extremely high) 13 second slip when I get my 6 speed sedan. 14.7 on the brakes is just insane. What kind of 60 ft times have you been able to get?

2.20 60' on that pass was my best so far. It was 9.34 @ 76.3 in the 1/8th. It seems to work best if you slightly load the converter for a smooth launch.

 

Sounds like 280HP to me.
