change my oil every 10k miles?

ok, since my car burns about 1qt of oil every 1000 miles, what if I top it off every 1000 or so miles, relocate my oil filter to the engine bay compartment somehow, change my filter every 3 to 4k miles, and do a full oil change at like, every 10-12k miles?

From my understanding, synthetic oil doesn't break down and just gets dirty? if that's true, can an extra filter be put in line somewhere to keep the oil as clean as possible and never have to actually get under the car and change it?

or is this way to much work and possibly cause more problems?
