So I started the tuck and got the driver side and the passenger side done. But I had a question about the hood pin, can I just disconnect it? I know that it will disable the horn and if some one tries to open it the alarm will not sound; but other than that is there anything I am risking??

i left mine connected. just kept the wires taped up and snug so they dont just hang around
