who has a NRG ps tank

who has one and can you take a picture of where the fluid goes up to? my fluid is leaking out of the vent hole on the top and i have had multiple please tell me that i dont have enough fluid and other people tell me that i have to much fluid, so i just want to see where yours is at.

also...what would happen if the fluid was to leak out and get on the actual ps pump itself? im asking because since i have installed the tank my car has a whine to it when i raise the rpms. not a sqeal but an actual whine. and i am hoping i dont need to replace the pump but thats what its looking like. thanks

The fluid level should be right up to the chamber hole that you can see when you look inside.

Getting fluid on the pump is not a problem, but if fluid gets on the belt, it may cause the belt to slip.

There is an inlet and an outlet to the tank, you may have gotten them mixed up, that may be why you are hearing the noise. The fluid is not flowing properly. If you look at the bottom of the tank where the fittings go, you will see that one of the holes inside is larger, that is the one that should go to the PS pump. The other goes to the oil cooler line.

are you talking about the chamber hole that is about 1-1.5 inches into the tank? about an inch wide?
