Anyone had there G motor ported and polished???

i got it ported and polished as well as got my transmission rebuilt got a shift kit and some gears lowered or something like that

ok well i just got my G out of the shop and spend 7600 dollars getting all the internals on the motor redone and ported and polished including the transmission... have you heard of any problems or any gains?

Wow I hope you did it all right. Who spends 7600 bucks then asks if its ok? I really hope you did not waste money.

o i am def very satisfied i just wanted some feedback its a hell of a lot faster and more responsive and makes my intake sound a lot better i just wanted some other people opinion and the 7600 was the cheapest around here and i havent even had it dyno or tuned so that will add to that total but all in all after im done with all that i should be right at 300 horsepower without any turbo or supercharger

Dang $7600, you could have been boosted for that amount. What exactly did they do to your car? What shop did the work?

try giving a list of what all was done to the motor.....and id suggest getting it dyno tuned. you can post back once you have adequate details. have a nice day.
