Was looking at different threads several nights ago and started thinking, how do high performance cams perform in our VQ engines? I'm going to get a tune next month since I've pretty much done all the breathing mods I want to do for now. The only thing missing is aftermarket headers. The gains seem to be negligible for the extra grand they cost, including installation.
Please chime in with what cams work best and what kind of gains can be expected if you've done this mod to your G. Thanks.

 

For the amount of money it will cost for the parts/labor it is not worth the small gain in power.FI is a different story as you will net more power esp to the right of the graph.

 

Just dropping in cams won't get the results you're looking for! You have a nice exhaust, why not add HFCs like BERK'S which are worth close to 10 HP at a cost of less than $500 then get a Osiris/dyno tune....

I do have HFC's, they're F.I. They fell like the best breathing mod of the whole bunch, even better than the spacer/MD MREV combo.
Guess I need to just go ahead and get my tuning done.
