Engine ticking noise

Hiya,
I have searched all engine ticking noise threads but haven't found any exact
same noise sample with my G.
03 G coupe 6MT. 80k miles.
Here are things have been done to fix this noise.(None of them worked. lol)
1. Drained engine oil and filled up with the thickest oil which Infiniti dealer recommended.(sorry I don't remember the exact name of it)
2. Had timing chain tensioner replaced at infiniti dealer.
3. Had valve/lifter diagnosed at dealer while the timing chain/tensioner was being replaced. They said it's all normal.

I've got a video here. (I don't hear any ticking noise from cabin but it's pretty noticeable from outside. The noise is a bit more louder in the video.)

Anyone has the similar noise? What could it be?

Thanks in advance.

it is tough to tell but it could even be an exhaust leak

Those are your lifters. Also, I would HIGHLY doubt that the dealer did a valve/diagnostics since the ONLY way to determine if the gap is within spec is to measure each lifter on the cams high stroke. All 24 of them and its a PITA!

I've seen this happen to motors with either low oil or bad oil. If the engine is revved with low oil, the lifters warp or dimple on the down stroke of the cam. This will increase the gap clearance and cause the sound you just heard, causing the lifter to move around in the socket.

Usually you have to take the engine out because getting to cylinder 5 and 6 is almost impossible to measure without the engine out. Crappy thing is a lifter replacement is a $32-$35 part.
