new parts ces lights still on
new parts ces lights still on
So I just had to replace my ecm. Infiniti said my stillen piggy back blew it out. when I got the car back everything seemed fine. (I had to bypass my stillen before they would install the new ecm) when i restarted my car the next morning, the engine, vdc and slip light is on. ( if I disconnect the bat. the lights are not on upon inital start, only restart) Got the code, Cam sensor bank 1, replaced it. started the car about three times with no lights on. then same lights came on. got the code. cam sensor bank 2. replaced it. lights still on and code is still saying cam sensor bank 2. wtf? I have also recently replaced my crank sensor. and fyi my car will not start with the stillen ecu in the loop. really long cranks before she finally does start too. any ideas why this same code keeps coming up even with all these new parts?
Has anyone else with a stillen s/c encountered anything like this? and what are the odds of both the infiniti unit and stillen unit going out at the same time?
Thanks,
Rob

You did rehook up the stillen fmu right. Its possible the stillen fmu is taking out the cam sensors as the fmu intecepts the crank and cam sensors.I remember long ago when i installed my stage 4 setup the stillen fmu crapped out on me after only 2 days and took out 1 of my cam sensors.
I think my stillen is blown. I have it in bypass at the moment. This basicly puts the car
Back to stock without actually removing the s/c. When I did try to put the stillen ecm back
Into the scenario, the car would not start.
