rpm bounces on high rpm

I was wondering if any of you guys encounter this issue before, or it just normal for the VQs.?..i was running through the gears from 2nd to 4th and when i shifted to 4th the rpm bounces alot before it begins to climb........what could this be...? Any advice on fixing this, is much appreciated...Thanks
you'll see it on the video... having trouble uploading the video, but heres the link to it... http://s891.photobucket.com/albums/a...t=DSCN1072.mp4

Looks like its just the gauge ... they are still spring driven and that bounce after the snap is just the speed of the guage recoiling off of the spring that it rotates with ... idk if its possible to replace the stop in the tach. might need a new cluster.

If the actual RPM's of the engine were bouncing like that you would hear it and feel it.
