ac belt tensioner pulley bolt size

does anyone know what the thread pattern/pitch is for the bolt that holds the ac belt tensioner pulley on? i know the tool size that is needed is a 9/16, but i need to replace it and i need to know what bolt to get.

First of all you need to use the proper tools. SAE wrenches should not be used on your car. Every nut & bolt on our cars are metric, so use only Metric sized tools.

Are you refering to the nut that is the center of the pulley ? -
It is 10mm X 1.25 - 14mm wrench

The bolts that secure the pulley bracket to engine - 8mm X 1.00 - 12mm wrench

only reason i said it was a 9/16 is because thats what the diy says to use.

Hate to drg this thread up from the dead, but is the the other belt tensioner nut the same? I was trying to tloosen that one and it started to round. Looks like ill need to use a round nut socket and will need a replacement.

Not sure but my crank side tensioner pulley came off yesterday and I KNOW I tightened that B!tch down to specs.....guess loctite next time.
