The car is READY!!!!! (pics)
Hey Guys
Thanks for all the comments
These are Enkei RP03 19x 9.5/8.5 rear/front. +42 offset all around. This is NOT the ideal setup. The front is ok, but I will still be dropping in a 2-3mm spacer (so the ideal offset in the 8.5 is probably +38 or so). The rear WILL rub if I have enough people in it. So I will be setting the amber much more aggressively and shaving the fender lips to make them fit.

My advice is to sell the rims you have now and buy a set with the correct offsets. Shaving the fenders isn't really that bad, but if you're still going to rub, adding too much negative camber may not be YOUR best option...

You would ideally like almost ZERO camber in the rear to increase your contact patch and get as much traction as possible, (at least you'd want to stay within stock specs). Also, if/when you shave your rear fenders make sure to notice the spot welds on the lip and AVOID SHAVING INTO THEM!!! You have 2 pannels under there that are "glued" together and they are also spot welded together. If you cut into the welds you're asking for separation problems down the road.

I know what you mean.... It's just that these were the only suitable wheels that I truly wanted and could get for the right price... I'll see if this is at all salvageable. I really do not know what my camber is right now. At least the car will handle a little better with more negative camber. Who knows... Also, I think having different tires will likely do away with rubbing issues. These tires are really exacerbating the problem. We'll see....
